Media Changes

Information

When a series is adapted to a different medium (such as a manga to anime adaptation), there are times when the production team changes its content or retcons the series.
This becomes an issue when the Editor or Coordinator is only familiar with one medium, or is not familiar with it at all, and thus is confused with the information found online or what is written in the synopsis.
Information used on the synopsis will always be dependent on the medium, i.e., isolate the entry.

Factual Difference

This encompasses age, names, relationships, and any factual divergence.

Content Difference

This encompasses addition or removal of segments (uncensored or remastered BD editions), difference in multiple adaptations from the same source, and remade or rebooted series.
RoE is an ongoing film series beginning 2007; it is meant to be an alternative take of NGE (1995) and thus contains major differences in character and plot.
